Behind every cake is a special moment, and that is exactly what makes our work so enjoyable after all these years. Since 2013, we at Enjoy-Cakes have been creating cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other special occasions. What started as a great love for baking and decorating has grown into a bakery with a wonderful team around us.

Yet, the personal touch has never disappeared.

Weddings, in particular, have a special place at Enjoy-Cakes. I, Joyce, still love welcoming couples to our bakery for a tasting. Sitting down together, trying different flavors, and chatting about their day and their wishes. Some couples know exactly what they want. Others arrive with a few colors, a photo, or just a feeling. Together, we then take it step by step to create a design that truly suits them. That creative process remains one of the best parts of my job.

Fortunately, I don't do it all alone. Behind Enjoy-Cakes is a great team. Together, we ensure that the cakes are planned, baked, filled, decorated, and finally ready for their special moment. Everyone has their own role and talent in that process.

No two weeks in our bakery are the same. One day we might be working on elegant, classic wedding cakes. The next, there’s a colorful birthday cake sitting right next to them. We work with flowers, fondant, gold leaf, cupcakes, and all kinds of themes. We are also happy to accommodate vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free requests.

What I personally find the most rewarding often comes afterward. A message saying the cake was delicious. A photo of the cake-cutting moment. Or wedding photos where our cake has become a true part of the day.

In the bakery, we mostly see the final result on our workbench. It’s in those photos that you see what we’re really doing this for. That never gets old.

We have now won the Top Wedding Companies Award three years in a row. We are, of course, proud of that. But ultimately, it is the encounters, the stories, and the beautiful moments we get to be a part of that ensure we still do this work with so much joy after all these years. 💕
